St. Andrew's Christian School held their School Run which was sponsored by Adidas. This was incorporated into the Annual School Cross Country Championships. A total of $1,508.25 was raised by the school. The class that raised the most money was K/1/2 who raised $431.00. The highest individual fundraiser was Rachel Van Dorp, raising $200.00. Congratulations to all of our students for their outstanding result!

A Duke of Edinburgh Expedition was held last week into the Nymboida National Park Buccarumbi Range with 16 students in the group led by 2 of our staff members, Mr Paul Schilling and Mr Dale Adams. The expedition proved to be both a physical and mental challenge in the rugged Nymboida National Park.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 8th May, the school is holding an Information Morning. The Principal, Mr Mac Lindsay will conduct a tour of the school with all of the relevant information for parents considering enrolling their children in the school for 2014. The morning starts at 9:00 a.m. and concludes with a morning tea. All parents are welcome.

The Zone Cross Country is being held this Friday 10th May at Casino Christian School.

The students will be travelling by bus driven by staff members and will be departing from McDonalds at South Grafton at 7:30 a.m. sharp (please make sure you are there by 7.20 a.m. so we can leave on time) and will return to St Andrew's Christian School at approximately 3:00-3:30 p.m. Please phone the school office on 6643 4770 at approximately 2:30pm to confirm the time of arrival back at school.

School sports uniform is to be worn and students are reminded that enclosed shoes are to be worn (no bare foot running). A canteen will run on the day that will provide hot food (BBQ), cans of drink and snacks. Students are advised to bring adequate water to drink for the day of competition.

Parent Teacher Night is being held on the afternoon of Thursday 16th May at the school. All of our staff will be available for our parents to discuss your child's progress this year. Booking sheets for each staff member will be given to our parents next week.

A Mother's Day Stall will be operating in the school this Thursday and Friday. This will give students opportunity to purchase Mother's Day gifts for their mothers/grandmothers.
